Iowa 4-H is the largest youth program in the state impacting over 100,000 young people each year through quality programs and activities. Being a part of 4-H allows youth and adolescents to develop valuable skills in critical thinking, communication, and leadership they can put into practice. Whether is learning to code robots or raising animals on the farm, there are many diverse programs and projects available to help kids learn and develop. The Iowa 4-H Foundation plays a significant role in making sure anyone has the opportunity to participate. They provide financial resources for those who might not otherwise be able to afford membership fees, activities, or camps. Other means of financial support they provide include scholarships and grants to help build our communities. Your support through GiveIowa will specifically help cover membership fees and current initiatives such as improving programs in STEM, healthy living, and communication. Just $30 for example helps cover an entire year of opportunity and community for a young person.
